They have booked him so bad that they have buried him. To turn it around he has to squash a lot of people and have an agenda.
I agree that buried is used accurately here. I think he needs to adopt a leader gimmick again. Maybe not recruit the original 3 followers again. Need some new people. Elias, possibly the Authors of Pain. Just a singles guy and a tag team, he leads them.
He goes back to cutting more down to earth promos that have nothing to do with the supernatural. When he does compete, he has to be the monster. Can still do the crab walk, mind game stuff, just no bug projections.
