If anyone gets stiffed this year, I vote the organizers give the option for the stiffed person to get “consolation” gifts from any other participants who wish to contribute. We can’t have people leaving this exchange empty handed.

Problem is you don’t know you’re stiffed until it’s after the holidays, particularly when the person makes excuses and bullshits and you’re thinking “no problem, no rush”. Before you know it, it’s february and you think “fuck it, who cares because
@ConorMcGregorsBeard sent me those yankee killer figurines”.....and that gift from the beard was a proactive, kind gesture that had nothing to do with me not getting a gift because he actually sent that gift well before Christmas.....that’s why I never ever attack him
