I disagree with hardcore fans not knowing him, unless they were new to the sport. He was voted "Best Striker" in the Pride Auditions but famously refused to fight for them best they were going to throw him to the lions and he felt he wasn't ready for the competition. Also, he was involved in "that" brawl with Diaz where he asked the crowd if Diaz deserved a rematch (he had a win over Diaz) -



Also the EliteXC champ and fought for the Strikeforce WW title (against Nick Diaz).

Yeah he isn't well know for his nickname, although the last time I ran the quiz a few people got it right - maybe its just because he's been out for a while.

His last win was via a nasty KO. Poor Sam Stout did not have clue what had happened, he was trying to choke out the ref!

Yeah, I heard an interview with Nick a while back and he rates KJ, himself and just a few others as the only fighters with a good understanding of how boxing works in MMA, although KJ actually has decent boxing record prior to fighting MMA.
