General Why don't the guests just join?

Not enough incentive. You still come off like an offshoot instead of a forum independent of your competitors. Circle jerking and inside jokes make up 90 percent of forum activity. In short take a nice hard look at yourself.

The UG was built on that, and was 20 times worse when it came to toxicity. I think there's somewhere a point you're trying to make that is valid, but mostly I think you are projecting a bit. I was a lurker for two years at the UG before I finally signed up.

I say many forums are exactly like you describe but they thrive. Now please elaborate, offshoot of what?

To a certain extent you're very much right. But, the inside jokes are pretty easily figured out and the circle jerking isn't hard to point out and make fun of.

What it comes down to is are you part of the problem or the solution? I'm sorry you've got all the Vutu hate but that could've been pretty easily taken care of by talking to wild or splinty and having them vouch for you or just lighten up and make fun of the people who are doing it.

Personally I like you and hope you stay but ultimately that's up to you.

She's already been banned from Sherdog and the UG so I think there's a fair bit of animosity for forum members fucking with her Stemming from past experiences.

Also, this whole Vutu thing was obviously upsetting her and a few people wouldn't leave it the fuck alone. I understand we do that shit to each other but you can tell when someone is getting upset and not playing along. Usually, that's when people here pull back or apologize but for some reason when it came to @Banchan they doubled down with the harassment.

I'm not here 24/7 so maybe this aggressive behaviour by the members here was deserved but every interaction I've had with her has been pleasant.

Well, if you are banned from several forums, that is also a show of character, at least that the party is not entirely innocent. But, I think I have been friendly on my part. And I think that is where you are right, and that is the way to go. But if the argument is, that somehow this is the meanest place on the internet considering MMA forums, I think that is a weak argument and simply not true.

I think it goes for anyone, if they feel harrassed, there's a report button, and I think the mods will be nothing but fair to the person in question. There's just no need for resentment as it serves little purpose. The internet these days, requires a thick skin, I'm afraid.

You will have few people that always bug you but there are so many other people that you can still join discussions and stay interested to read new stuff. Here its pretty small that if even 5 or 6 people pile on you it's pretty noticeable and you're pretty much unable to discuss anything except people accusing you of being this vutu. It gets boring.
