Hauler @Hauler so if the Canes and Tigers are still ranked in the top 4 when they meet in the ACC Championship game, do you think a close win by either team sees BOTH teams stay in the CFP?

Probably not. It could happen, but it would likely require a closely contested game where both teams play well and for the teams ranked just outside the CFP race to look unimpressive in their final game.

I probably shouldn't jump the gun anyway. Knowing the Hurricanes' recent history, they'll lose to Virginia this Saturday or Pitt the next.

My prediction for playoff rankings...

  1. Alabama
  2. Oklahoma
  3. Clemson
  4. Miami
  5. Wisconsin
  6. Auburn
  7. Georgia
  8. TCU
  9. Ohio State
  10. Oklahoma State
The committee clobbered TCU, knocked them all the way down to 12. They obviously didn't think much of TCU as they dropped them so far back, and then didn't move Oklahoma up as much as I thought they would for beating them soundly.

They also left Notre Dame in the top 10 - which is something I didn't think they would do after they got smoked like that. But ND only has Navy and Stanford remaining. Without a championship game because they refuse to join a conference, there is zero chance they work themselves back into the conversation. Zero.

The current CFP Top 10:
  1. Alabama
  2. Clemson
  3. Miami
  4. Oklahoma
  5. Wisconsin
  6. Auburn
  7. Georgia
  8. Notre Dame
  9. Ohio State
  10. Penn State

I wish Ohio State had some good teams remaining on their schedule to help them move up this list, but sadly they only have Illinois and Michigan left.

Beating Wisconsin in the B1G Championship Game will move them up a bit, but they won't reach the Top 4 unless all hell breaks lose. I think they'll finish at #6.

After what I saw in that Notre Dame game, Miami.
You gotta give their defensive coordinator credit - the turnover chain is one of the most brilliant things I've seen in recent memory.

It's completely energized their defense into making big plays.

It's fun. Anything that gets players to compete just a little harder is a good thing.

That song still sucks though.

Some facts about Badgers:
  • They are called ratels because of the rattling sound they make when they are being attacked.
  • They have a resistance to snake venom.
  • When attacking beehives, they release a fume that spreads throughout the hive.
  • When attacking large animals they go for the scrotum.

What’s on tap today?
Other than Michigan getting face-fucked by a pack of badgers starting at noon? Not much.

This is the week the majority of the SEC plays a bunch of Div 2 multi-directional schools. Like Northwest Idaho or the like. Shit should be illegal. I think Alabama plays Mercer. Fucking cannon fodder.

Bucks have Illinois at 3. That's honestly not much better than Mercer.
