Watched that last night.
Those 2 don't like each other. Benches cleared a couple years ago after Garrett K'd Baez and did some woofing afterwards.
The last time these 2 met the Reds swept the Cubs so I'm thinking maybe Garrett said something about that - which is why Baez looked to be using the bat as a broom? Totally guessing there.
Should be an interesting series with 3 more games to go. Garrett hasn't been pitching well at all this year - he's sort of turned into a one-trick pony with his slider - but he isn't a pitcher I'd want to beef with. Remember this is the dude who took on the entire Pittsburgh team a couple years ago.
Eventually Baez will take one in the ribs for that shit.
