Sports 2021 MLB Thread

those spring training tickets in AZ are all sold out due to limited capacity been trying to buying them for two weeks. the irony it used to be insanely easy and cheap to go to AZ for MLB compared to even going to angel stadium 22 miles away.

Reds relief pitcher Amir Garrett so far this spring...

3 games
3 innings
9 batters faced

9 K's

And the Royals are in first place. Its spring training gramps, slow your roll before giving the kid a Cy Young award.

I can't wait until Amir puts one in Yadi's earhole and then takes on the entire Cardinal team by himself.
Game 1 of the season.
7th inning.

You're so fucked.

I cant wait for Cincy to finish in last place again.

If the Cardinals weren't a travelling Covid factory they would have played the same amount of games as everyone else in the NL Central. Had that happened, there is no tie for 2nd.

Reds finish 2nd
Cards in a distant 3rd

Tell me about the good ol days when you had Tom Browning and Eric Davis

still sold out I think I can get some on stubhub hub but I have to over pay by about 200 percent or more of the tickets value.Screenshot_20210327-081641~2.png

Voit tore meniscus in his knee and will be out to start the season so Cashman is keeping Jay Bruce which makes me happy. We need more lefty pop in the lineup and having another solid vet is a plus for the clubhouse.

Today's the day.
Opening day.

Just did a quick scan through the Reds schedule. I don't see a single game they should lose. 162-0

Hauler Stat Of The Day:

In MLB history, there have only been 3 seasons where the league had more strikeouts than hits.

Those seasons:
2018
2019
2020

Opening Day and it's fucking snowing here.

Sunday it's supposed to be 70.

Go home Mother Nature. You're drunk.
