He can keep having his lawyers release shit like this. All it does is show the the lawsuit is 15 percent about racial disparity as he’s selling, and 85 percent Brian Flores and his bruised ego. He’ll never get a job in the NFL again. Not as a coach, not as an usher, not as a hot dog vendor. He’s burned every bridge and quickly. Why he thought the Texans were going to hire him when he mentioned them on page 43 of the lawsuit, and how he felt they discriminated against David Culley, is laughable. Flo is so full of his own shit, it’s not even funny. I think there is merit behind what he’s fighting for, but you’re so offended by how they treated Culley and how they racially discriminated against him that you’re gonna interview for the job… TWICE? Then get pissed when they don’t hire you after you drop this lawsuit with THEM MENTIONED in it? Get the fuck outta here.

It was only after the lawsuit that suddenly the narrative switched to "he's just not good enough to play in the NFL"
That was always a horseshit narrative. However, Kaepernick also did a few things to fuck people who went to bat for him and were willing to give him a viable chance, while not lowballing him. More than a few were willing to roll with Kaepernick. I can tell you Miami, Arizona before they drafted Rosen, and Baltimore were ready to play fair with him, but when they met his demands, he moved the goalposts. I want to say one of the New York City teams too but I can’t recollect whether it was the Giants or Jets.

No one? I remember reading articles about how Kaep had lost his touch long before the kneeling shit took center stage.
the whole team came apart when the front office targets Harbs (justified or not).

Denver's interest was expressed prior to the Chip Fucking Kelly disaster, after Kap had shoulder surgery....before Kap took a knee. But the same thing, they wanted Kap to get a 1/3 paycut and be a backup. At the time, Chip Fucking Kelly was going to start Blaine Gabbert and (like Shanahan after him) run an offense that wasn't built around a QB like Kap. Strictly a business decision where the two parties couldn't agree on money, but there "knee drama" was in the future.

it's like if the Pats had started running Bellicheat out of NE after Tom's 2nd season as a starter and replaced Bill with Marty Mornhinweg.

So did Baltimore… offered him a chance to come talk contract and he blew it off.
the only source for that story is Ray Lewis, and he blames it on a tweet from Kap's g/f.

nobody from the Ravens (AFAIK) ever collaborated that story.

fun fact - I locked eye contact with Ray Lewis at the Niners last game at Candlestick, and flipped him off.

source? I actually know some people with the Cardinals org, and I don't remember hearing that they met his demands only to have him walk away.

Maybe he was more interested in being a social justice warrior than actually getting an NFL contract? Maybe because he knew in his heart he fucking sucked once the league figured him out?

I might see if I can pull up some of those old games for the lulz.

According to Google, Kaep's net worth is $20 million. Things have been quite for him lately - I'm sure we'll see a book deal soon.

when did Kap suck that the whole team didn't suck?

is it more likely they figured out Kap, or that they figured out the offense of an OLine coach or Chip Fucking Kelly?

If the QB sucks you don't have much of a chance. Not saying the 49ers didn't suck - and I certainly won't defend Chip Kelly.

I will have to re-watch some games, but I remember Kaep not being too good with anticipating where the ball should go based on the defensive alignment. His passing stats would suggest that as well.

that's pretty common for QBs, almost every QB I've heard talk about football talks about how the game slows down significantly after their first couple years, primarily because they get better at pre-snap reads and improve timing with their core receivers.

Kap didn't get that...not saying he's Russell Wilson, just that we can't attribute the magnitude of the Niners swing from SB to shithouse to "the league figured out Kap and then nobody wanted him."

"the league figured out Kap and then nobody wanted him."
Perhaps he wasn't as effective as he had been as defenses adjusted to his style, and nobody wanted him at the price he thought he was worth?

He demanded $20 million per year to play in the XFL, where standard QB contracts were $250k.

LoL

The XFL declined to divulge details of the Kaepernick contract talks. But sources said the former 49ers quarterback wanted at least $20 million to suit up for new spring football league. Mark Geragos, Kaepernick's attorney, did not return an email from SN seeking comment.

What sources do you have for the NFL blacklisting him?

This discussion is all speculation.
there was a lawsuit with documentation and depositions.

a lawsuit that the NFL (and Kaepernick) elected to settle.

Wes Welker moving with Mike to Miami.

not gonna lie, doesn't hurt my feelings. The WR unit didn't perform very well this year. Deebo did great, once he was less of a WR, but now they're talking about Fangio coming back...maybe as a 'consultant'.
