I am doing much better. The Doctor's visit is the 13th to see how it went.@Bigsunfish how you doing buddy?
The pain is my foot is basically gone.
The others toes on that foot seem to be doing better. The right foot is clear.
I have a vascular appointment in August.
They still cannot say definitely what was the cause after many tests.
Losing toes suck but like one nurse said, How often do we think about our toes or feet normally?
The worst part by far is being immobile and sitting/lying with foot elevated.
My body hurts from sitting on soft surfaces for this long.
Otherwise I am excited for Summer and getting back to life.
Thank you for asking and I will let you all know what the Doctor says this week.
I had a bone infection in the ER,and the foot surgeon suggested we cut it off right then. I somehow thought I could keep it but it was not so. I wished I would have done it then but it is hard to be rational in a hospital bed filled with drugs.
I decided to do another toe as it was losing its battle and going thru this again was too much mentally for me.
I am not a diabetic nor have heart clots/disease so it was reasonable(at the time) to me to wait for a few weeks but glad it was not the foot.
The nurse told me in my case it would probably be the lower leg if my foot went south. They cut until they find healthy tissue at the joint.

It has bother me a little but I am older and married.
I always had big feet crammed into smaller shoes so my feet are kind of nasty shaped anyways.

When you need to order boots I highly recommend reaching out to one of the PNW boot makers. I'd personally start with Nicks. But they can make the left/right different sizes to help accommodate

Went to the Doctor and my other toes and foot are going to be okay.
The Doctor was very happy with the outcome. Seeing my foot without the toes was kind of hard but I am over it now mostly. It is hideous nasty but thinking of a tattoo or something for the foot for later. I have hematology doctor appointment this Thursday to go over my blood. Hopefully everything will go okay there. They still do not know why exactly.
I got my stitches remove(it hurt) but did not have blood leakage before or after and that is pretty awesome.
I wear my boot for another two weeks the onward to shoes.

Haha! My stepmoms brother (step uncle?) got all boozed up once and was fucking around with a 20g. Blew 2 middle toes off.
As little kids one of our favorite things at family get togethers was to wait for the adults to get loose and then beg "Uncle Benny, show us your foot!!!Please!?!"

I lost my right index finger from the middle knuckle up and my left pinky from the first knuckle up due to frostbite
Had them chopped off on a Friday went right back to work ion Monday morning, on my desk were 200 doll hands, 100 left and 100 right each pile had their appropriate digits removed
I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time, true friends are the best
as a side note I have fun with it, whenever anyone asks how it happened I make up all kinds stories

Losing a finger would mess with me too much I think.
I will improve my story game instead of just telling them about the amputations medically.

What comes around goes around
the guy behind the doll hands got a return serve shot right back at him about a month later he had to rent a car to visit a customer, he’s a big car guy and rented a high end mustang but on his way to the customers shop he hit a deer with the rental and totaled the car, he was fine but the car looked like it hit a train. He was all shook up about it but was physically ok. I had to seize the opportunity, I went out and bought one of those die cast mustang toy replicas, a small plastic reindeer, a pair of cutters, along with a little spray paint and abottle of blood red nail polish. I beat the die cast car with a hammer so it looked like the car he crashed, cut the head off and a couple of legs off from the little plastic deer then painted the inside of a small box to look like a road, black bottom with white and yellow lines like a street would look even hot glued a few toy trees in place. Hot glued the beat up toy car in the box then hot glued the toy deer head in the front seat of the car with deer legs sticking out from under the car. To finish it off drizzled some of the blood red nail polish all over the inside of the box. It was the best dam diorama in the history of man kind! Then I mailed it to him, I even got the guy from shipping to print out a shipping label so it looked like a package came from the company he was visiting.
My boss thought it was an amazing harmless prank and he knew I mailed it to our work address and had a few ppl waiting for the delivery to record his reaction opening it.
It was priceless and funny af
I even got a call from the guys wife applauding my efforts
life is short with soooo many unexpected dick punches along the way, make the best of the time we have while above ground and don’t forget to be a little creative
Worst physical pain I’ve experienced in my life. Took me out for a couple of months due to a med condition as well.
I refuse to let it cause any more then a chuckle now
