Yup, it was a few (approx 8.0m) quakes at about 02:30 this morning.
It's now 21:30 and the civil defense alarm was called off at 14:00
Don't get me wrong - my father is on the coast up north, and he headed for high ground.
All is well, and nothing happened luckily.

They're releasing hotel quarantine slots for booking on sunday. Hopefully we can get joined rooms and flights.

Can't wait to fly to Toronto then to dubai and then auckland with a shit ton of luggage and two kids whoo!

thise tsunami are always something I thini about in those island places like Japan and NZ. we have the threat of tsunami here but the only one I have seen barely flooded the surface streets off the shore nothing as powerful as Japan.

We get tsunami warnings on the west coast of the island now and then. It’s a trip to hear the sirens going off, lucky to have never experienced the real deal.
