I don't give a fuck what you care about, how's that? ;)

I never said to take the word of the government. But there is enough literature from the scientific community out there validating their claims that now I believe the burden of proof now lies on the naysayers.
Have you watched the youtube documentary?

But at the same time does that mean we never can believe the government because they've lied in the past? People have all lied at one time or another. Can we never believe anyone?
Skepticism is a scientific approach and one I support.

Yes I should have clarified, I believe that in this case, the burden of proof has now shifted.
OK, so your stance (now) is that the burden of proof may have been in the official report but you are content that it has been met.

I'm going to watch it tonight because I hespect all sides. I haven't had time to yet unfortunately. I'm not in a position to talk about its claims I just got caught up in an esoteric debate about stuffs.

Yes nothing wrong with skepticism, a certain amount is healthy. So just believe everything is naive. I meant flat out not believe anything they say because they have lied in the past.

Well to my pea brain it has. And if you are implying my stance has changed in this thread, it hasn't it just may have been poorly articulated.

It'll take awhile. Do it in a few sessions.

I don't think you have a pea brain and I don't think you've changed your stance. I think you probably don't have as much experience as me in articulating your arguments in a debate, which is why I tried to do it for you.

As an aside it's sweet to have meaningful discussions. I think we all learned something today. I know I have.

Well in general, yes. I don't believe anything my government tells me without verification. It's been demonstrated time and time again that governments and politicians will lie and kill people for their own gain. That's not speculation, as you well know. But maybe I'm missing the context, can you provide an example?

I was captain of the debate team in high school.

Well, because the rest of the team died in a horrible bus accident.

They based that movie The Sweet Hereafter on it.

Never saw it.

My girlfriend wanted to see it, but I convinced her to see Ace Ventura 2...

Because I was captain of the debate team.

I'm interested to see what you think. It's definitely a mind fuck with some of the stuff. And your going to be googling while watching, and pausing, and so on.
