We have like 5 things in there.
There was a county board meeting this morning about paying for homeless to live in a local Mariott. They'll kick them out after 6mo & move in the illegals.
And they'll be back in tents in people's front yard
Not mine. Fuck that noise. I gave the last homeless person that tried to tent up at the edge of my neighborhood a warning that if they were still there when I get back from the store I'd be destroying their setup & beating their ass. He was gone when I got back from Raleys.
CA is such a shit hole at this point. Fuckheads doing doughnuts in people's neighborhoods, bums everywhere, trash everywhere, citizens thinking everything is great & it's some kind of cruel & unusual punishment to clean things up.
I'd love to burn this fucking place to the ground.
Don’t go into old town very often. Used to have a membership to the train museum for my son as we would have competitions on the high speed train simulator they have. Also I’m a nerd & going through the old steam engines & noticing the similarities in the boiler controls with an old power plant I’d operate was fun. Would also take my wife to the Firehouse restaurant for their Mother’s Day brunch on occasion.
all that said, I have seen homeless down there the last couple times we went over there. There’s a bigger police presence there though so it’s not as pronounced as downtown/midtown areas.
I tend to stay out of that area with the exception of Tower Cafe/Tower theater (Land Park) & little Japan. If I’m not going to work but heading out to a regular movie theater then it’s Delta Shores or we’ll go to Clarksburg or a couple places in W. Sac.
Anymore if we want to go somewhere, for the most part we leave the area for a while. Nevada, Ft. Bragg, back home to SLO county, Oregon coast. Just get to somewhere clean.

I've been seeing some new juans. They seem to have a script. Instead of asking for money, real money they just go around collecting quarters from everyone. I saw a unique one saying the law was on his side cause he was doing it "the right way" by asking for donations. Dude was youngish enough to work and well spoken but had face tats. He offered me his cash app and zelle. I asked him to unload the truckload I had which was sky high and I'll give him $20 cash. Ah, my back! and bikes away lol.
