I call sabotage!
We know a thing or two about such stories.

On 19 October 1999 Baumann tested positive for nandrolone and received a two-year suspension, thus missing the 2000 Summer Olympics. The exact circumstances of this episode remain unclear. Baumann was voluntary tested after the initial results by an independent institute. Extremely high levels of nandrolone continued to be found in the tests and the results of the tests fluctuated dramatically depending on which time of day Baumann was tested. After several weeks of voluntary tests, Baumann claimed that the results varied with the time of day because the nandrolone was in his toothpaste. The German Athletics Federation (DLV) reluctantly believed Baumann that someone had manipulated his toothpaste and allowed him to start at the German championships where Baumann qualified for the Olympic Games in Sydney. However, the IAAF did not agree with that verdict and imposed a ban. Baumann tried to sue the IAAF before a German court but was unsuccessful. Those defending Baumann have pointed to the fact that the levels of nandrolone found in his body were completely abnormal for any athlete wishing to enhance his performance.

Hahahaha.

It’s basically an anti-aging type peptide," Mendes told KHTK Radio today.

Chad Mendes confirms skin cream caused positive test, ‘I broke the rules’

Mendes breaks his silence about his two year suspension for GHRP-6, saying that a skin care product he used contained the banned ingredient.

Chad Mendes broke his silence today about his positive drug test that resulted in a 2 year suspension. The top ranked UFC Featherweight tested positive for GHRP-6, a peptide on USADA’s banned substance list.

"It was GHRP-6. Before all this stuff came out I had no idea what that was. I don’t even know what that is and I started doing a bunch of research. This isn’t even a steroid, it’s a peptide. It’s basically an anti-aging type peptide," Mendes told KHTK Radio today.

As to why Mendes was taking GHRP-6, Bloody Elbow’s Nick Baldwin reported last week that the banned substance was in a skin cream that Mendes was using to treat a skin condition.…

Glad I'm in good company on this forum I was wondering what the article meant by the word confirm.
It's not that these people don't have credentials, maybe they do, it's that they don't seem to possess critical thinking skills beyond that one kinda dumb kid in class who seemed like a good guy and tried hard.

I'd wager it is deliberate rather than a case of incompetence. There seem to be a lot of 'journalists' in the sport who are willing to act as PR mouthpieces in exchange for insider status or other benefits but even if it is not a shady exchange, they seem to be more prone to fanboyism more than any other journalists for some slightly disturbing reason, and this is especially true when cognitive dissonance kicks in regarding PEDs. Even a smart guy like Luke Thomas has Jon Jones cock rammed so far down his throat that he can't think straight about any topic related to him, and he is also borderline incomprehensible when it comes to the topic of PEDs.

Considering two 'journalists' were in on the act here, this has to be a case of a deliberate PR effort rather than a case of blind nuthuggery though.

They are purely in snake oil online creams. I call BS, but lets say its true. You'd have to go off the radar just to find one. If you have psoriasis so bad you'll hit up a rheumatologist/dermatologist and be put on something like humira. If not as serious, you get creams that aren't illegal.

Anyone ever seen a single plaque on Chad?
Was just going to say this. Not once have I seen one little mark on Chad to indicate psoriasis. These excuses are getting old and played out.

Didn't Barry Bonds get popped for using some kind of cream? If so, where can one acquire said cream? Seems better than a needle in the poopchute.
