How To Make Sourdough Bread

It has this part
The Leaven
We already made the sourdough starter, so now we make the leaven — this “leaven” is ultimately what gets mixed into the dough. It’s made with a tablespoon of your active starter and a specific amount of flour and water. A tablespoon of starter might not seem like much, but you’ll be surprised at how quickly the yeasts in that tablespoon multiply and make the leaven bubbly!

Make the leaven the night before you plan to mix the dough and leave it on the counter. By the next morning, it should be bubbly and smell slightly sour. You can test that it’s ready by dropping a spoonful into a cup of water; if it floats, it’s ready!

any of you guys do the Leaven recipe?

when I lived in OR I had a sent in my DNA and learned that I'm 1/1024th J-Pod Orca.

they eat 200lbs of salmon a day.
Nice, was wondering what happened to the salmon runs

It is actually the seals that do most of the damage to the runs

seriously though, the fresh fish is great up here, I know some guys that will deliver same day fish in bulk from the coast and cut out the middle man(fish markets/stores)

I did! Decided on bourbon as an experiment. I've made rum marmalade and whisky marmalade, going to give bourbon a go. No recipe needed, the biggest pain in the ass is removing the pips and sterilizing the mason jars.
