Thought process: Folks been sucking on that Gov't tit for over a year. Easy money is disposable money.
It's why we saw meme stocks take off, and I think online betting will be the next big thing once it's legalized across the country - which it soon will be for the tax revenue.
Something has to pay for all these "free" programs, and right now there isn't as much coming from the labor market - which is still below levels we saw prior to Covid - despite what that idiot in The White House says.
