Flu vaccines are "free" so I have a feeling that this will also be free at first. I'm not sure if it will stay that way though. Kind of like how in the beginning of the year testing was being fully covered by insurance but that's no longer the case.
Tests at public testing places in Florida are free. Drive-thru tests at CVS or Walgreens are covered by insurance. If you don't have insurance, they are free for you.

The only tests I know of that cost money are rapid result tests, but even those are offered for free at a few public testing places (but sometimes you have to drive an hour to get to one, which is why some people pay).

Just got confirmation that my vaccine appointment is set up for Saturday.
Look I know you claim to be a doctor, but don't rip your mask off right after you're vaccinated and start shouting at people to cough on you because you're "immune."

Your body not finna start to build immunity until day 12:

Down here they've said they are just not going to bother vaccinating kids until at least 2022. This makes sense given finite supply and that all the science says kids are at very low risk, but you can imagine there's going to be some hysterical 'but what about my baby!?!?' backlash.

On the plus side, all the anti-vaxxers crying about their kids getting autism won't be an issue until 2022 either.

Just to show you how stupid and uninformed the average American is, this was the day after the FDA advisory committee recommended the Pfizer vaccine be granted an EUA (it had not yet cleared the final bureucratic step and was days away from mass distribution):

Make no mistake, that sign was reactionary rather than precautionary.

So you're saying I can go wild for Christmas? Got it.
source for "more old people died from being put in homes than anything else"

source for "1% mortality".

is death the only outcome of COVID?
are all outcomes of COVID known?

Hey Doc, speaking of Christmas, can you set aside some of your yacht fuel money (do yachts have fuel or do you just use galley slaves?) to buy me a personalized message like the one you got from Paige but from Candace Owens calling me a 'limp dick socialist cuck'?

I would buy it myself, but I already spent all my money getting a personalized message for conor mcgregor nut hugger from Mackenzie Dern thanking him for being her biggest fan. Well, I actually just paid a morbidly obese server from a Burger King in Sao Paulo to read out random words from an English dictionary, but we can all agree that is essentially the same thing.

The public statement here is that we're not vaccinating kids because it hasn't been tested for them.

Those numbers include nursing home workers, too.

Flu deaths are on average 48% elderly.

2018-2019 flu season saw 34,000 deaths.
gotta remember that the 34k flu deaths is almost entirely CDC waving their hands at formulas...there's only a couple thousand people every year who are 'confirmed' flu deaths, using the COVID definition of 'confirmed', e.g. tested positive and died, where COVID/Flu was a contributor to death.

2 guys were standing next to each other looking at a computer monitor. I think Tom is channeling his inner Les Grossman.
I get the message, but the delivery is waaaaay off. Unless these two guys have been warned about this a couple times before.

Tom Cruise's COVID rant
We want the gold standard. They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us! Because they believe in us and what we’re doing! I’m on the phone with every f***ing studio at night, insurance companies, producers, and they’re looking at us and using us to make their movies. We are creating thousands of jobs you motherf***ers.

I don’t ever want to see it again, ever! And if you don’t do it you’re fired, if I see you do it again you’re f***ing gone. And if anyone in this crew does it - that’s it, and you too and you too. And you, don’t you ever f***ing do it again.
That’s it! No apologies. You can tell it to the people that are losing their fing homes because our industry is shut down. It’s not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education.

That’s what I sleep with every night. The future of this f***ing industry! So I’m sorry I am beyond your apologies. I have told you and now I want it and if you don’t do it you’re out. We are not shutting this f***ing movie down! Is it understood?
If I see it again you’re f***ing gone — and you are — so you’re going to cost him his job, if I see it on the set you’re gone and you’re gone.
That’s it. Am I clear?

Do you understand what I want? Do you understand the responsibility that you have? Because I will deal with your reason. And if you can’t be reasonable and I can’t deal with your logic, you’re fired. That’s it. That is it.
I trust you guys to be here. That’s it. That’s it guys. Have a little think about it. . .[inaudible].

That’s what I think of Universal and Paramount. Warner Brothers. Movies are going because of us. If we shut down it’s going to cost people f***ing jobs, their home, their family. That’s what’s happening.
All the way down the line. And I care about you guys, but if you’re not going to help me you’re gone. OK? Do you see that stick? How many metres is that?

When people are standing around a f***ing computer and hanging out around here, what are you doing? And if they don’t comply then send their names to Matt Spooner. That’s it.
