From some sources in January on a given day it’s between 1700 to 1900. Based over a 5 year period. A Clive Myrie piece that ran on the BBC this week mentioned a person who was admitted because of a stroke, but also had covid. What do you think killed him?

There is no doubt Covid is deadly, but realistically how many people died of covid? We don’t know.

And these stats are just people dying in hospital. What about the death rate of people at home dying of cancer and heart disease strokes etc that aren’t treated because the hospitals are shut down?

it really annoys me. There was a guy in tv today who had covid and said he had rung his wife and said I’m going to die today. He didn’t, why show a scared person in hospital scared of his own mortality when it s not factual news.

Hospitals are buying refrigerated trucks to put bodies in because there is no room. California bypassed a law to allow more bodies to be cremated per day to make more room for bodies. When is the last time you heard of something like that happening?

Yes, some areas are not getting hit like this at all. But your town could be next.

They are shut down for elective surgery. Not for treatment of strokes. I should know.

Mrs. OneDude had her first shot before our exposure in early January. Last week she tested negative, I was positive. This week she is still negative, and I am awaiting my results. Pretty neat.

This article isn't entirely true since I'm aware of the military's position in vaccine distribution.
With that said the great majority of vaccines so far have been put through usual channels and not through that position. Vaccines are simply allotted out just as flu shots are to hospitals and clinics. no no time frame on the next amount showing up and you just put your order in and give them out. This is a terrible system.

The plan for community locations as much better considering cold chain issues. once you pop a vial you need to use it quickly so this is really only possible when you have a continuous line to not waste any. We wasted many because of this problem early on.

Even though they were less than 0.5% of total vaccine recipients, non-Florida residents can no longer get vaccinated here. Part-time residents like Canadian snowbirds are still eligible as they can provide proof of residency. I agree with both decisions.

This shouldn't be managed at the state level, but since it is, this makes sense. Florida should be vaccinating all in it's communities. Canadian snowbirds add to that risk. If they live there, they need to be vaccinated.
