They live here 3-4 months a year. They pay taxes.
Also, there is considerably less risk of contracting COVID-19 in Canada. If they're willing to come down here and contribute to the local economy, of course we should vaccinate them.

One of the families in our Boy Scout group is back in Florida after being in Montreal since last March. They were only able to come back to their home here because the dad got a work visa for the cruise ship he works on. It took three months for that to sort out.

Definitely not, but they live here most of the year (I think they only go up to Canada for school breaks), and the kids go to the same school my son does. He’s Canadian and she’s Eastern European (I want to say Russian).
