both glitter and herpes are concurrent hazards of visiting the gentlemans club.
True words, my friend.

Back in my day when I was a lustful sinner heathen, I partaked (partook?) in a gentleman's club or two.
And was stained with a glitter bomb or two I couldn't ever seem to get rid of.
But once I found Buddha, I was able to pray the glitter away.

Namaste

If you don't come out of your bunker soon with some gardening tips, Zeph @Zeph is going to kill and eat BeardOfKnowledge @JonJonesBeard corpse.

Also if the lock down doesn't let up in 3-4 weeks you're gonna have to lead the rebellion because we are all in Plato's cave.
He said he was going to eat me. Nothing about killing me though. Let's not get carried away here.

Here's some new reports from a local ENT here

Corona virus patients are reporting lost sense of smell and taste. I have no idea the data for this but there's case reports of it so ENT groups are starting to suggest this may be a screening question. Regardless if you have a sudden loss of taste or smell you should call your doc anyway.

Also for mask talk...
An ENT surgery in China for a endoscopic pituitary surgery apparently infected an entire operating room full of people. Apparently this is about as bad as you could get of a procedure. So normally this is a respiratory droplet virus. But if you intubate somebody you have to assume your aerosolizing it. So you go from respiratory droplet precautions to airborne precautions because you are mechanically changing the way the droplets move around. Apparently this case report says everybody was wearing N95s knowing that they were aerosolizing, but people still got infected. this could be from improper wear but you would think the Chinese are pretty good at wearing their gear by this point. So now the group is suggesting to consider respirators for this particular surgery until more details can be figured out.

I'm now convinced I has this around early December. I literally couldn't taste anything
And I mean anything anything for 3 weeks. I could have eaten shit with my eyes closed and wouldn't have known.

Edit. Just spoke to my wife. It was around Jan 20th.
Funny how you forget the dates

I'm convinced I've had it

Man I've been sick as fuck for 15 days now, going to the doctor tomorrow. Pretty sure I have bronchitis (hopefully not corona - been coughing up mad phlegm so no dry cough, also no fever). Tried to avoid going in hopes it'd go away but nope. Really hope I don't catch this shit being down there, it's a public healthcare place and filled with dirty fucks normally.. so I can't even imagine now.

Will be wearing a painters mask and gloves. Gonna look like a total psycho lol, but better safe than sorry.
Best of luck hopefully no covid - don't worry about looking silly wearing mask and safety gloves - better safe then sorry.

I think Iceland has some interesting results. Since their population is so small they opted to test everyone and they found that many people who tested positive never developed any symptoms at all. I’ll see if I can find the link and report back.

Edit: found the link...

Mrs. Velvet told me about it this morning so I had to look it up. Definitely very interesting.
@Splinty, I know you’re busy on the front lines of this but what do you make of this?
I passed it on to Mrs. Dude and Grandpa Dude. They are the scientist and statistician of the family.

matches the s korea data.
I still think we should have been testing as the pandemic ramped UP, but Dr Fauci suggests not.
Some areas restricting tests as COVID-19 death toll rises in the US

And I guess that might just be a resource issue. But once this thing was clearly doing community tranmission for more than a month undetected, aggressive testing seems like on obvious response.

The 2 drive through testing sites in Dallas turned about multiple 100's of people this weekend. They have since loosened the restrictions. They weren't even at their limits and were turning people away.

Our country reported no new cases yesterday, so that's a win.
