After watching the press conference it seems he fancies the Diaz fight. I think he respects Nate and would like him to make $$$

Does kabob still fight MMA?
Hahahahahaha :D look how scared the fans of the "confident guy" are. Let's pretend Khabib doesn't fight mma anymore, let's pretend Tony doesn't fight mma anymore, so we can get the fop to fight Diaz again, oh who's been so active in the mma scene by the way. Hahahahahahah

If I wasn't bored to do it, I'd go back in time and quote all you gullible guys being excited about the likes or Rhonda, Conor and Sage Northcut. So lame.

With Jones testing positive Ari and Dana are currently reversing a truck of money up to his house in Ireland begging for mercy

GSP is the only fight big enough right now imo. Conor better hope Bisping wins and seems Georges back down.

Depends on UFC pay. Did he shift the paradigm?
75-100 million off this fight.

What can the UFC afford to pay him? He will need to see 10-20 million against relatively easy competition or a lot more money to keep going.

I actually believe he loves fighting. But a son, 100 million, young and healthy? Get in, get rich, get out.

Ego is strong. So is an endless life of wealth and freedom with your family.
In a recent scrum, Dana was asked about whether he expects to have to negotiate a new deal w/ McGregor after this, which could include a stake in the company. Listen to what he says (time stamped).

Dana suddenly magnanimous and a deal maker now that the company is sold lol
That adds a whole new dimension I hadn't even thought of. The historic decision makers have changed. Maybe lots of new options available now

A lot of things on the table now. McGregor Promotions co-promoting his MMA events with Zuffa? Small ownership stake in the company? Zuffa Boxing co-promoting a boxing event with McGregor Promotions, with Conor headlining against someone like Malignaggi in New York?

The $100m figure, if correct is taxed. I don't know tax cide in irekand, but since he made that money in the united states, at least 39.6% goes to the US government. Anything above that taxation, if his country has a higher tax, goes to them, then he keeps the rest. $50m is still a lot of money (if ireland takes another 10%). What the ufc gets out of that $100m (allegedly) is something else to factor in. The numbers being reported were the ufc was taking 40% (not sure on whether that was out of the gross for conor's share of the event, or just show mineu), then he has 20% in management fees, whatever trainers charge etc...
As far as I'm aware you pay taxes where your residence is, rather than where you make your money. Either way, in Ireland he's looking at 40% too.

It's going to be tough for Conor to take an 80% paycut, when the winner of GGG/Canelo is calling him out.

I think he comes back to MMA for sure.

Interestingly I was watching a video with Amir Khan's thoughts after the fight and he said he should box Paulie next and believes Conor would beat him.I sort of want to see that fight but at the same time I think if Conor just ignores MMA training for another 6 months and focuses only on boxing it wouldn't be good for him. Then if he lost to Paulie he would take a big hit star power wise and would have to return to MMA 100%, but now it would be after focusing solely on boxing for a year. His other skills could diminish/not be quite as sharp upon his return, and if he's facing a wrestler like Khabib, that wouldn't be good.

I just think that he belongs in MMA and can really solidify a legacy as a defending champion if continues to devote himself to that sport. I think he will retire fairly young, but I see him beating most of the top guys at 155. I don't think he should go for the 170 belt at any point, he is just not big enough.

If the winner of that fight calls out Conor then that's embarrassing.
If you had an opportunity to fight a guy not on your skill level, with a bigger than average payday, whom his fans have decided can "hang" with one of boxing's GOATs. Why wouldn't you do it?

If Conor did manage to pull off the miracle last night then it would have made sense for Canelo/GGG to call him out.. but now, they would get so much hate for it, because about 80% of the boxing community perceives Conor to be a joke basically. Obviously I don't agree with this - Conor is an elite fighter and unique in ways we never thought we'd see in our sport.. but the crossover between MMA and boxing hardcores is not super high, I'd say it's about 20% who watch all the fights in both sports.

So, calling out Conor after the loss would be a bad look for them - the fight isn't going to get made no matter what and the boxing community would shit all over them for even asking for an 0-1 guy... who just lost to someone in a weight class below the one they are fighting at. So I think it's a lose-lose situation.

For the integrity of boxing.
It hurts the integrity of MMA a lot more than it does boxing. That's honestly the elephant in the room that no one's addressing. Last night showcased how low level MMA striking actually is. Another night of Conor making him someone else's ATM just furthers the notion that MMA fighters are just as out of their elements in the individual disciplines of MMA as individual specialists are in MMA. It was Metamoris IV all over again.

Man, your posts are actually sad. Lol, you will never realize it due to a complete lack of self awareness, but anyone who roots so hard for people to fail and seemingly takes immense joy in when it happens is more than likely completely insecure and a failure themselves.

Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor.. what failures they are. According to you, this = failure: Multiple world championship victories, millions of PPVs sold, worldwide fame, and tens of millions of dollars in their bank accounts. Hundreds of millions now in Conor's case with more to come.

You are so right, everyone else is gullible but you hold the key. You totally called that, bro and YES - Conor and Ronda are totally comparable to Sage Northcutt - a guy who has never beaten anyone in the top 15 of his weight class. Conor knocked out a 10 year long undefeated, all time great in 13 seconds and won the championship in two different weight classes.. but he's absolutely comparable to Sage Northcutt.

I can't imagine what leads someone to make these kind of statements, and actually believe them. It's like you live in an alternate universe. Making posts like this would make anyone who actually understands this sport take you for a fool and essentially disregard anything else you say due to what is just a clear lack of understanding and ignorance of what you are watching.

there's different tax rates in the US depending on how many days Conner has been here, I remember Manny Pacquiao had several large parts of his training camps in the Philippines to avoid the higher rate. Not sure if that's been changed since but I don't think it has

Hopefully he thinks he's bigger than the law, doesn't pay a dime, and ends up prison. That would make me happy.
