Of course... But google says it's something like 33% people sentenced in 2023 were non citizens.
It's actually great to catch illegal border crossers and instead of just releasing them back.. Hold them, Prosecute them, send them to El Salvador for their sentence then they can get released.

I would clarify and add "citizen" that then. US citizens should never be sent from an American prison and put in one inside of another country.
