Didn't we just read about some GOP senator blocking a bill to prevent voting machines from being connected to the internet. I think her point was that the states can do what they want. I'm really curious to know what the glitch is and if it's a true glitch or users being their typical dumb selves.

I didn't read that but I don't doubt it.
I think if it is affecting federal election then it will be dealt with both on a state and federal level...If investigation proves it was a widespread problem...So far I have only seen "glitches" in michigan and california.

There are reports of updates rushed out in the last few months and also a report of an update pushed out during the election(in Georgia at least)
Dominion Voting System is the widely used system that is mentioned a few times in tweets and articles last few days.
I'm not a tech guy so I don't know anything beyond that...I will wait for the dust to settle.
Variations on searches on Dominion Voting...etc...will turn up some information about various concerns and where it is currently used.
