Your trying to argue that goverment statistics need some sprinkles on top. I disagree with you and believe numbers speak for themselves. Obviously there will be outliers but theres a reason doctors engineers and scientists use stats.

That's a bad statistic. Maybe we can contact the fbi so you can help them improve the crime reporting numbers. Or maybe I'll find the same stat from other sources and you can deny that its reality.
