No doubt it's the last "fuck you" on the way out like Clinton did with the Marc Rich pardon. For some it makes them angry but to me I just sit back and watch the dumpster fire happen. I'm just waiting on word for the heavy hitters such as Assange, Snowden, Bannon, and the heaviest of all hitters Joe Exotic...

It's gonna be hilarious. If he frees the tiger king then 2021 is going to be very interesting to say the least

I just heard someone make a good point in regards to Assange. now thst trump has been impeached, its unlikely that he'd pardon someone like assange whom most of the current politicians hate

(the theory being that if he pardoned assange, the senate would take that as an F U and be more likely to actually convict him)

Yeah 400,000 dead Americans means there should be a lot of job opportunities recently.
Not really how it works tho is it. In England half the high street has gone bust due to closures. Some very established companies are ditching staff like there is no tomorrow

Oh yeah, that should be plenty of opportunities for the 15+ million that the unemployment numbers went up by ?

in the US it was something around 15% of full time and 25% of part time folks that got laid off due to Covid.

It’s a shame the way the administration miss handled the pandemic and tanked the economy.

The shame being the highest infection and death rate in the world? Or the fact you think less action was required?
I think more action was required. I think if the administration and more people (supporters) in America took it seriously they wouldn’t be in the situation they are in.

Which would require what exactly? More closures? A bigger hit on the economy and more job losses as a result. Or do you have a different idea as to how it should have been handled?

Ftr I think America did a shit Job. But having been in two other countries during the thing I can't say that more extreme measures seem to have done fuck all tbh. Just closed a lot of places down.

America (POTUS) done fucked up big. No way around it. Rushing to open, blaming states, dismissing masks and social distancing, ditching the national plan and covid task force after only a couple months and on and on it goes.
