Was just playing on the trope that for a large group of Americans everything not completely unregulated is socialist.
Still a system that cuts freedoms of players quite a bit.
I mainly dislike it because of the franchise system. AFAIK none of those are natural grown clubs and teams, feels fairly artificial.
Of course we have artificially propped up clubs here as well.

Our employers cover us at no cost, and cover part of his cost, we pay the rest. 3k a year for a whole family isn't bad imo.

How common is it for employers to cover the entirety? What is the value of the plan and what would your sons be if not covered in part by your employer? If you have another kid is it another 3000$?
