Germany is doing well again? Wonder how long it'll be before they start another great war...
Probably sometime after you guys start a few average wars in Asia or the Middle East, spend trillions on them, lose, and get.......... what, out of them? At least Germany learned lessons about starting wars. Because they cared about what other people think, and now they're not a police state shithole....... idiot. ?

It makes no sense because you are wrong. You pay more for everything and "free" health care is a joke. There is no room to argue these things. Is America going in the wrong direction? Yes. But that changes nothing yet.
American has a 17.80% poverty level, right up there sandwiched between Cambodia and Greece.

America is ranked 30th in the world for quality of accessible health care.

Ranked behind Canada, Kapan, Israel, Korea and the UK in quality of education.

Ranked 19th on the world happiness index.

What is your current national debt level?

Seems like there is a lot of room for improvement.

I talk with people from around the world daily and no one lives as well as we do here.
Half of your workers don't get paid vacation days.

We may be fucked now by liberal scum
You're fucked by conservative scum who think that coal mining is the wave of the future and the education system needs more Jesus.

but we are still doing better than you.
Yeah...... not in any quality of life index, you aren't.

I don't see many riots, looters or violent mobs making domestic terror attacks on Parliament House here. And when we build a new school, we don't include design features to reduce the body count for when the shooter arrives. ?

Seems the borders are still packed with people trying to get in which strongly contradicts your statement.
Oh that's cool. You got immigrants want to move there, eh? The country I come from, a quarter of the population was born overseas.

Most people dont think their countries are better. They think their countries are good.
Yeah most of us think that there's a bunch of stuff that we can do better. We can learn about prisons from the Scandinavians and elder care from the Japanese, for example. They're better than us at those things.

Anybody want to learn about policing or gun culture from the Americans?

Gun culture isn't the best example.

Is that not illegal?
No, it depends on what arrangements you make with the employer.

It practically is my private car for all purposes, I just don't own it and pump gas / have repairs etc. on a company card. The company leases its car fleet.

It's basically part of my payment, but benefits both sides regarding taxes n stuff.
So it's not really uncommon to do it this way here.

However, as employee you should still make a calculation whether it makes sense for you. My cost of living go down considerably, but at the same time, if I got the value of this package as normal payment, my pension contributions would be higher, which benefits me when I retire.

So if you don't drive privately, just take a normal pay rise.
