This place is much better in terms of interaction, conversation, debate, etc. I was on the UG the other day before I left and noticed in EVERY SINGLE THREAD about ANYBODY, half of the replies were extremely negative, just shitting on people. I honestly believe most people on the UG want fighters to fail.
In fact, I believe this is how most people are on the internet period. That's whya smaller community that is more tight knit like this is better. Knowledgeable respectful people for the most part, without an out of control number of signups and posts that cannot be tracked. We just need to keep spreading the word and gain more members in the downtime between fights. However every weekend this place has been growing and lighting up. Perfect time to launch with the big fights lately.
The UG's downfall is not really the lack of giving a shit. RickStorm is the fucking savior of that place. Disbeliever bitched me out like a cunt, because according to another mod, he was embarrassed that he was bitched at earlier that day for not doing his job
It's so fucking gay I am even typing about this, but it's true. When you have less than f ew dozen people to moderdate thousands of posts a day, you're foolish. There are plenty of long time, well know members who offered to help (Me, Let it Bleu, uniquetechnique and more) and didn't even get an answer. IMO, that makes them just as guilty as hiring zero mods period. You'll never be able to patrol everyone, but at least half of the content on there is garbage. There have been multiple 2015 sign up accounts that are easy to spot trolls, doing nothing but shitting on fighters constantly, yet they are all there making hundreds of posts in mere days.
