No point in being long winded. The answer is defunitely yes. Avoidas many spoilers as u can. Don't google or youtube the world "game of thrones" or u will be spoiled. Don't even tell anyone u are warching it. Just do it and enjoy

1st season was hard to follow, too many characters introduced and all these medieval names.

Had to do some research to understand the premise.

One thing for sure is I hate medieval themed movies, stories, book, anything but this show is really good where I'm already in season 3.

They are different. Both top tier. But game of thrones is more like a movie. Huge budgets. Breaking bad was amazing tho in a different way

Game of thrones is a huge world with numerous main plots and tons of side plots within the main ones

I say a toss up. If they were trying to figure out no.1, should be those two.

I'm leaning towards BB.
I used to think about what the next episode will be for BB when I go to bed and get all excited.

GOT doesn't have that effect for me but then again, it could be my lack of interest for medieval stuff

jeor used to be head of hosue mormont in the north. he went to castle black to let his son, jorah take over. jorah married a girl who had expensive tastes and ended up selling some poachers to slavers. ned stark sentenced him to death, but jorah fleed to essos.

varys used jorah as a spy for the crown

he got word that he was pardoned, and he realized that he was no longer needed (meaning they were going to assassinate dany). so rushed back to her and saved her life just in time from the dude selling poisoned wine

from then on, he was 100% loyal to her. she eventually found out and banished him

he was drunk at a brothel banging whores dressed like dany, and he spotted tyrion. he brought him to dany. she still said no. he fought second time in fighting pit, harpys attack and he saved her life. she welcomed him back into her service

maege mormont is jeors sister. technically, she was in change of the house. i think she died t the red wedding or after it. her daughter (jorahs cousin), is the badass lyanna mormont who calls sansa "Sandra" lol

so jorah and lyanna are cousins. and john snow is using the mormont valyrian steel blade. would be cool if he ghave it back to jorah and they brought the sword "Dawn' (arthur daynes... basically ex calibur of game of thrones) back into the equation for jon

Lol. Ur funny. U may eat those words tho. Everyone assumes valyrian steel can kI'll the nigjt king. He is more than a white walker. He has dragonglass in his chest. He made the white walkers. My guess is that only a one of a kiND sword can do the job versus him

Plus, valyrian steel didn't even exist the first time they fought the wights. Granted, I'm toying with a theory that the last hero never happened. That it wss actually just a prophecy thousands of years in advance. So instead of this being a replay of events, it's the prophecy and lore finally coming true

also, the north doesnt have knights for the most part. knight hood is related to the Faith of the 7. most northerns follow the old gods. there are some exceptions lik Ser Rodrick Cassel who probably got knighted during the war of the nine penny kings, and Ser Jorah got knighted by Robert after the Greyjoy Rebellion

but for the most part, northerns arent knights. when Jory Cassel went to question Jon Aryn's squire (turned knight), the dude who got lanced intentionally in the neck by Ser Gregor, the knight said "i'm sorry i didnt catch it... Ser what?" and Jory says "i'm NO Ser"
