Pretty rare for a guy to punch his own ticket after making it long in life. Not rare at all for a major shock to kill an old guy.

Autopsy will reveal much, seems like they've confidently ruled out CO poisoning, but Autopsy will tell that story too.

Weird case.
The elderly have the highest suicide rate out of all age groups. Bear knows.

That pathologist Michael Biden was on the news earlier. Based on what has been released and ruled out:
- Double Suicide or murder suicide
- Double murder, likely via poisoning
- One had a medical event and while trying to help had a fatal event of their own.
- There was an actual gas leak of some form that killed them which was resolved/fixed in the 9 days they were dead.

I think he carpet bombed all the possibilities except aliens.

Maybe he was mauled by a bear after a mouse killed his wife. Maybe...

She had to have been sick for a week or 2 at least before she died. Genes daily routines (important for alzheimers pts) must have been disrupted for quite a while. They don't handle that well.
Based on what I've experienced he just as easily could have starved to death like the dog, waiting for his wife to come back in the room because in his mind she just left.

He was found in the kitchen. Maybe he wait sitting there wondering why there was no food in front of him.

I just can't believe his kids never contacted him during this time frame. I would speak to my dad pretty much every day and take him out for coffee just to talk once a week up till the day he passed.

You can't just call Alzheimer's patients. When the phone rings they answer the iron.

Yeah, I couldn't imagine not checking in every couple of days. But some families just get long distance and drift, I guess. Fucking sad ending.

My dad and his brother will go months without talking to each other. They don't dislike each other, and each has always known the other will be there if he called and said he needed him. But they are both just, I don't know, independent or private or something.
