I disagree. The system is not working. The problem is not that one sicko cop killed someone and is now going to stand trial. The problem is the culture that led to three other police officers being present and allowing that to take place. Not just one partner turning a blind eye, but three people. One can only imagine, with what we know of people like their union president, what other kinds of abuses happen there on a regular basis and never get recorded or reported.
The media feeds them this enormous race-war that's being fought, being suckered into the sensationalism.
And all the other questionable calls of the police force which left huge consequences for those victims but rarely any for the cop. It just not merely a racial matter.
