we are only accepting illegal hatians at the moment
I know. We told them that Canada was accepting all Haitian applications and that if they moved to Quebec they wouldn't have to learn a new language.

They bought that shit hook, line, and sinker lol.

A couple models put it coming to Louisiana, so we're setting up a bunch of cold mist fans on the coast to blow it east.

Interesting thing I read about Louisiana yesterday - you guys have just as many alligators as we do.

I always thought that Florida was the only state with a significant alligator population and that the alligators in the rest of the deep South were just the pussies who couldn't hang in our swamps.

I've been to the Everglades. Literally just looks like where I live haha. When we kayak Lake Martin, we sometimes push them away with paddles. They don't bother you, but they get a little too close sometimes. THere are some monster gators in the Atchafalaya as well.

Here's Lake Martin, one of my favorite fishing spots. Beautiful and has some pretty nice sized fish and it's only a few minutes away.

I need to get me a GoPro for our trips. Between cool scenery and crazy shit we do, I could get some views lol

It's a crime (misdemeanor) to feed them, but Everglades airboat tour guides feed them so that they come close to the boats for the tourists to take pictures (air boat tours are a huge business in the Everglades).

They get pretty big here, but I don't worry about them when I go out fishing. I keep an eye on them of course, but they typically keep a safe distance.

Water moccasins (cottonmouths) scare me more than alligators, actually.

Cool story bro incoming:

I was fishing a spot where I had to get in the water to cast under some over hanging trees(couldn't skip it under like I would normally do. So I'm in the swamp in my waders with a couple gators around and I hear a little swamp tour coming around and the guy talking about how it's dangerous to be in our waters blah, blah, blah. He comes around the little bend and everyone is just staring at me. He's like wtf are you doing in there and I'm all like don't be a bitch in Cajun French, so the people couldn't understand, and I tell him that it was the only way to cast to the sac-a-lait that were back in there. He asked how many I had caught and I told him I was almost to limit (50) and he said he was cutting the tour short and getting his waders to come out there lmao
