When you find your calling, you don't turn it down.

I think if it spreads to your chest it's bad. I had them on the middle of my back iircAlong the waistline on the right front and back
Your back probably comes up to my balls, you midgetI think if it spreads to your chest it's bad. I had them on the middle of my back iirc
Just make sure it's not still contagious before you go back, I'd be pretty pissed off if I caught it.The poor people at my work do not know what to do. The night person at my job was suppose to be off on wednesday, thursday, and friday with our floater covering for her but now my boss is considering canceling her vacation because I might not be able to work.
I feel bad because I do not know what to tell them. I certainly can not afford to miss any work and plan to be there on wednesday, but the internet and various people who have had shingles are telling me that is most likely not going to happen and it could be up to a week or two before the pain becomes manageable (shingles hang out for 3-5 weeks but the pain part of it varies from person to person).
So I really have no clue what to tell them. Right now the pain meds they are giving me make it not too bad for an hour or two (when combined with my medical card!) but they only gave me 10 pills and I am only suppose to take them once every 12 hours and not drive on them, and after the first couple hours it starts to hurt pretty bad (it hurts even on the meds but it is at least not the horrible shooting pain)
I am going to call my doctor in a couple hours and ask him what he thinks and if maybe he can prescribe me something more for the pain.

I still haven't had chicken pox. I need to go get the vaccine before it puts my ass in the hospital. You cant get shingles from me. If you have never had chicken pox there is a small chance while the sores are active that you can get chicken pox.
an antiviral med, Acyclovir.I still haven't had chicken pox. I need to go get the vaccine before it puts my ass in the hospital.
Did they give you anything other than pain meds?

back from the doctor.
He confirmed that I have shingles. He also confirmed that I am not a risk to anyone so I can go back to work any time but said he expected to be at least a week or two before the pain was manageable enough for me to go back.
He also actually laughed out loud when I showed him my pain perscription. I was instructed to take 50mg of tramadol every 12 hours. He said that was insane and it should be more like 1 every 4 hours, and to take more than that if I needed. He also said it would not surprise him if the pain got worse and he needed to prescribe me something stronger.
looks a lot like poison oakback side.
