the abuse they are talking about is the call to ukraine where he said i want you to do us a favor. they just listed all this off at the hearing i posted above
this is what I mean by 'wriggle room for rationalization'.
the accusation is that he usurped the power of the Congress by withholding the funds. The specific pieces of evidence that they point to are the instance of pressuring the Ukraine to conduct an investigation.
The Democrats would have been better off laying this out as a pattern of abuse, but they're in a hurry to get this in before everyone goes home and drunk-argues about it over Christmas ham - because they're not really interested in rooting out the corruption, they just want to besmirch Trump and reclaim some of their pride after Orange Man stomped Courageous Pantsuit in the election.
but if you acknowledge that the funds were withheld, then someone abused the power of the executive in opposition of the power of the Congress.

that's in the part where they're listing the abuses of power.
what are you not understanding here about the actual abuse of power they are impeaching for is the favor on the phone call?

It's even in the articles of impeachment as something they're going to try him for...

on sabbatical...nothing else to do...i'd say almost all of it. Maybe not 100% attention all the time, but I kept the stream up.
