In the first 10 seconds he makes a false appeal "they did nothing to get it released".
That's not true.
Literally the only reason Trump didn't get totally fucked here is that the state department forced the funds to be released before Ukraine president followed through with public declaration. The public declaration on CNN was already scheduled.
You can't just claim the did nothing because the declaration was stopped after the state department convinced the whitehouse it was illegal to hold the funds.
Trump froze congressional funds (illegally which was why they were forced to be released)
Trump ran a shadow foreign policy via Rudy Giuliani (not a government employee) outside of the state department.
Trump didn't willingly release the funds.
Ukrainians made arrangements to make public declaration of Biden investigation.
Ukrainians then stopped those plans when funds were released...again, not by Trump's schedule.
If just investigating corruption in a usual manner...
Why the fuck is Rudy running policy?
Why is the executive freezing congressional funds without notifying congress or the state department? (again, illegal)
Why did the Ukrainians setup to give the public declaration but then pullback after funds were released?

There is nothing usual about the ride we've all been taken on the last four years. I suspect we'll get our answers, but not soon enough.
No excuse if it's illegal, but he won't be removed from office, and good luck getting people to care enough to affect the 2020 election after Trump lays his cards on the table.
