I love this video so much. The animal kingdom fascinates me to no end. I guess I spoke too soon about my little man. He'd probably kamikaze himself like that if he had to.
The best bit is just after he hits the dog and it runs he chases it for a bit then stops looks back at the kid and runs off after the dog when he see's the person tending the kid.

I like to think cat's thought process was like.

"Motherfucker"
BOOM
"Ye run bitch. I'm gonna claw this fool"
"Wait! Shit! The little human!"
"Oh.. Oh, you got that? Cool, I got this. Fuck yeah you ran bitch."

That's what I like to think.

That's exactly what I meant about the fascination. All those words spoken through action. Beautiful.

If that video actually did occur in Canada the poor dog would be put down. No free bites up here, making me skeptical that it's in Canada as someone else said I believe
It's definitely in Canada. That's a Canadian accent for sure. Btw, I'm Canadian.

Further to the point of the video, though, that man brought a weapon to someone else's property. He clearly takes his time to show that he has a weapon (that looks like a pistol, even up close) while standing (not retreating) at the end of the driveway. To me, it looked like he was about to turn around after he stopped.

I may have not sent my dog after him (I don't want my dog killed), but dogs have a fine habit of protecting their masters no matter what. The dog did what centuries of breeding told him to do: protect the Alpha that feeds me and gives me a place to stay warm at night.

However, if I had a firearm I would have easily fired a warning shot. I'd probably shoot into the ground near me (not near the old man because there were cars going past).

Oh, and it's very telling about the old man's state of mind how he kept aiming at the camera-man.

It's a good thing nobody (including the dog) ended up with a flare in the face!

A flare into the middle of that scramble wouldn't have gone well either.

Can't blame anyone for going after the dude, I would be fired up as well.

But I don't understand the camera thing either, why didn't he go after him himself instead of just filming? I mean if he really thought he is in danger then that was a stupid way to behave.. maybe he knew he was not in great danger somehow?

There's a theory that I read about this phenomenon. A disconnect between what you are filming and you. Unable to find the article now unfortunately.

I hate America but no where else is any better. I just hate people. Both sides were fucking douche bags.

I see one idiot and hear another one on the video. The whole thing just shows a total failure to communicate.
