The whole promotion is. It's unreal.
I don't know. There is a lot of good stuff, but most of the AEW originals for me are not watchable. Bucks are great, really great, in-ring, but are shitty wrestlers otherwise, and in-ring is a small percentage of what makes a pro wrestler. Perry just comes off as a tiny cosplayer. Okada is neutered. Mone is just annoying. Mox is meh, Jericho is way past his prime. Needs to be in the early 80's Tony Garea role at this point. Or maybe a mouthpiece for someone. Private party has been fringe so long, gonna be hard to buy them as champs. Orange Cassidy is whatever. Supposedly Darby was the one to beat Bryan for the belt, but Mox dreamt up this angle. Now Darby, the one guy organically over, is pushed aside for Orange. Garcia has always been extremely vanilla. Cole and his group should be enhancement talent, with maybe the tag team dudes getting a good push. And most of these guys have been like this since day 1. Just the E sucked so bad, it seemed good. MJF, Ospreay, Swerve, Outrunners, Brisco, etc, they have a bunch of dudes the shows should be centered around, which some are and some aren't. And some sleepers that should be there and aren't. Daddy Magic can talk better then most anyone else on there, and could be a top losing, devious heel. They have dozens of chicks you've never heard of rotating in and out yet Lady Frost (currently injured) is miles ahead of most and is stuck on ROH where no one can see her. yet we get Riho shoved down our throats. AT least Shafir is in a top group now, that's long overdue. It's almost like Tony has a fetish for guys that can't really draw a crowd in and buries people that are actually over with the fans or could be. Some exceptions like MJF and Ospreay, butfew and far in-between. MJF has an amazing knack for not getting stuck in the shit they bury him in.The only one not affected by the curse of Jericho and his heat vampirism, Garcia, and other weird shit fueds.
But a lot of the matches are still bangers and the PPVS have been coming together more cohesively, but maybe a tad too long. (15 matches is a bit too much, 5 is much too short, ahem, WWE). It's just hard to get invested because the charismatic people are not presented well, and all the shitty orignal roster is sucking up the majority of the top story lines which no one gives a fuck about.
