Even though he's recently won both the ROH World Tag Team Championship and the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship, dirt sheets saying Dustin Rhodes contract is up at the end of September and no extension has been signed yet.

He is 55...but says he has plenty in the tank. So rumors abound where he's heading if AEW isn't going to keep him around.
I dunno if Trips would ever do it, but in a perfect world, Dustin gets secretly signed.

Cody & Roman do this tag match with the Bloodline that somehow spliters Roman off to feud with Bloodline Wolfpack, freeing up Cody.

Have a SmackDown where Cody is about to get jumped (or gets jumped) by Bloodline Wolfpack, only to be saved outta nowhere by Dustin. Get the huge pop from the crowd, they hug in the ring, feel-good moement, then BOOM, Dustin attacks him.

Dustin goes on to do the disgruntled brother thing, Cody got the success he shoulda had, everyone thinks better of Cody, Cody even stole half of Dustin's moves (e.g. - the drop to his back & punch), etc. Now that Cody is the over-the-top, blonde-haired, blue-eyed babyface, Dustin is here to show the world the "real" Cody...that he's fake - just like his blonde hair.

Then build up to an intense blowoff PPV match. Give 'em 30 minutes and let them absolutely tear the house down.

I would be ALL for that.

And I'm certainly more interested in that than Cody vs quite literally *anyone* in the fucking Bloodline.

I would be totally down for that. Everybody knows they want to do a program together.

Should be Allin, but obviously building to Mox-Daneilson.

Daneilson but shenanigans furthering injuring him.

May gets the win.

Hook should win but it's Tony so probably strong.

Ospreay will be worth watching against the bucks, but it's the bucks so it's also not worth watching.

Yeah, don't think Danielson injury storylines will ever go away, since that seems how they are going to limit his schedule.

MVP / Swerve is interesting. Swerve turning heel on Nana to go with MVP would get major heat. But who would be the top guy in that faction - Bobby Lashley or Swerve?

You could have Swerve join MVP to only get attacked by Lashley & Benjamin later, but that's turning too quickly (they're not gonna wait 6 months to a year to debut Lashley) and they've already done stories similar to that already.

So I guess it'll be Lashley vs Swerve? Benjamin comes in later to help Lashley?

Or maybe the other way around? Benjamin debuts first, go Benjamin / Swerve (giving Benjamin some spotlight he's deserved for about a zillion years), for Lashley to revealed as the main heel later?

I think Hurt Syndicate will do an NWO invasion type thing but need at least one more person. Hobbes should be available soon and would be a good fit.

Swerve vs Benjamin would be a great match. Never that impressed with Lashley.

Swerve / Benjamin would be outstanding. What Swerve lacks in Benjamin's crazy athleticism, he makes up via doing crazy shit. What crazy shit Benjamin won't do, he makes up via insane athleticism.

Not gonna lie - I'm kinda with you on Lashley. I mean, I totally "get" why he's a draw, but he's always bored TF outta me - his first run in WWE, in TNA, his second WWE run...

Hobbs would definitely be a good fit.

Benjamin punking Max Caster for his dipshit comments would be great, too.

I bet they attack Nana to set it off. I wouldn’t try to breakup Nana/Swerve because they are too good together. Swerve could use a backup as well that could also be Hobbes or Cage.

MJF was cast in “Happy Gilmore 2”. Rumored to be playing one of Sandler’s sons.

Maybe he won’t get the “Iron Claw” treatment this time.

They need to hurry up and make this Shane move. They’ve been dull for a while and need a major shake up

I saw that Hobbes was officially cleared to return.

More importantly, The Outrunners are collecting belts!
