Holy shit man. Im not even sure where to begin.
My cars got a fucked up clutch that started acting up yesterday. Had a doctors apt this morning and made the absolutely horrible choice of having my roomate give me a ride their on his way to work and ride the city bus back. Figured id save some money over a cab.
Had to take 2 different buses back. To switch to the bus that runs by my house i had to get off at a bus stop in Hazell Dell Washington. A truly ghetto and terrible place.
I was told that I had a 20 minute wait until that other bus came. Decided to make a bolt to a nearby Mickey D's to grab a bite to eat and so nobody driving by that I knew would see me waiting at a bus stop.
15 minutes later I start to walkout to the bus stop and i see the fucking bus zip past. So at this point I had to wait at the bus stop to make sure I dont miss the next one.
I walk up and theres a bum wrapped in a blanket sleeping on the one bench they had there.
I glance to my left and theres this 20 year old skinny wigger 5 feet away beatboxing and rapping.
At this point I said fuck this and started trying to download the Uber app. Couldnt get it to load so the wait continued.
About 5 minutes later a random crackhead chick who was probably in her 20's but looked 40 walked by and offered to blow me for $10.
Finally after what seemed like an eternity I see the bus pull up. I stepped in and was greeted to the overpowering smell of unbathed bodies, stale cigarettes, and what im pretty sure was urine.
Its completely packed so im standing up holding onto a railing. After maybe 10 minutes i notice a commotion up front. Turns out a pregnant woman was panicking and saying her water just broke. Bus pulls over and waits for an ambulance.
At this point I just couldnt take anymore and darted off the bus and frantically waved down a nearby taxi to take me the rest of the way home.
I will never ride a bus again for the rest of my life. I can only imagine what a bus in NYC or Chicago would be like.
