Biden is not the head of a personality cult. He is a generic, boring Democrat politician who is familiar to and doesn't scare undecided voters. He doesn't generate (or demand) either uncritical fawning adulation and total subservience, or rage and hate (except for the cultists of course, on account of his, quote-unquote, "radical socialist agenda".) Biden is not the type who is going to fill arenas and sell T-shirts in the lobby, because he's not an entertainer. He's a politician.

Enthusiasm for Biden was low. If anyone argues that people were super stoked to vote for him and Harris then they're full of shit. But people, especially people that shoot the Trump KoolAid into their veins, massively underestimated how hated Trump is and how much independents and actual conservatives wanted him out.
