So across the street from me my neighbors are getting their roof redone. The house next door to them has a fire hydrant on their lawn. The roofing company parked their trailer in front of the hydrant...and left it for the weekend. They've been gone for over 24 hours, and it's still sitting there. Under normal circumstances I'd hook it up to my truck and just hide it somewhere, but they put a boot on it, so it ain't going anywhere. It isn't likely, but I don't really want my house, or a neighbors to burn down because these ass hats don't resepct hydrants. Would you let it slide or call the pain in the ass bylaw officers that no one wants around? Wat do TMMAC?

I'd call the neighbors and threaten them. Then fuck the wife in the ass while the husband watches.

Or, set the house on fire, then sit in your front yard smoking a cigar with a gas can next to you, just watching the fire trucks not be able to save the house.

I suppose loosening the lugs on the trailer could also be a good one. Letting the air out of the tires at minimum.

dont let such trivial things bother you man. enhance your calm.

how is this even an issue??
IMO its a safety issue, I dont expect a fire at my house, but I'd be pissed if someone left a trailer booted in front of a fire hydrant for a weekend.

do you have fire insurance? again, dont let such minor details control your anger.
fire insurance doesn't bring back people or pets who die in the fire.
Its one thing to have a worker park in front of it while they are working, but to leave it there all weekend and boot it then that is an issue.

yes it is an issue, a minor one with basically zero consequence. you better not drive anywhere all weekend because that has a MUCH higher risk than that.

again. deflect your anger to something substantial.

i dont think this is a minor one imo, in reality I probably would do exactly nothing, and watch other neighbors get pissed while i smoke a joint.

while that is the likeliest of scenarios, dont ever be the guy that gets some worker possibly fired because of something so trivial. dont cause more issues for other people because of a possible scenario. if it was a 50/50 chance of something bad happening, then sure, call anyone of merit. but really, why create more problems than not? if you did call some authoritative figure some hard worker (possible) is going to have to come out on his only day off to move the trailer 4 feet because some cunty house wife needs everything in life up to social code.

Psychotropic Wanderlust @Dana White's #1 Fan It's a real situation, but I thought it was pretty clearly a joke thread dude, simmer down. Realistically there's nothing that can be done. Bylaw won't tow unless it's been there 3 days, and I don't want the company ticketed because all that happens then is some guy just trying to make ends meet will end up in the unemployment line. I don't know how many roofers you know, but roofers generally aren't the upper end of intelligentsia; so I wouldn't really expect a guy who gets skin cancer for a living to even notice a hydrant while he's climbing a ladder 8 hours a day in the blazing heat. I certainly don't need his unemployment on my conscience. All that I want is the trailer moved so in the event of a fire the fire department isn't hindered for no good reason. I'm honestly a little shocked the city won't tow.

sure.

those fucking border jumping pricks can get fucked. the last thing your neighbor needs is a group of guys who just got here on a floating door to do his roof, let alone have it burn down because of their bullshit. its guys like this that ruin america. if it was me I would ruin their fucking life. tow the trailer, dont even tell them. when they get back be waiting with the ATF & DEA (most roofers are coke heads) and tool them up. do all this whist in a robe, because america thats why.

Their roofers aren't Mexican, because I don't live in America, but I like where your head's at.
