And they STILL cant figure out how to use him...
He's a receiving tight end, that doesn't mean he's going to out-run DBS when you line him up like a receiver. THere's some brain drain going on there, or somethingAnd they STILL cant figure out how to use him...
Fucking hell.
Yeah... last I checked, the point of offense is to create mismatches IN YOUR favor, not the defense's.He's a receiving tight end, that doesn't mean he's going to out-run DBS when you line him up like a receiver. THere's some brain drain going on there, or something
I prefer running Jet sweeps from 3rd and goal with my tight end.Yeah... last I checked, the point of offense is to create mismatches IN YOUR favor, not the defense's.
Yep and if they wanna use him on the outside then let him actually threaten down the field where he can use his strength and length to win at the point of contact. All these in breaking routes are not helping him at all. He's a receiving tight end, that doesn't mean he's going to out-run DBS when you line him up like a receiver. Its kind of like Derrick Henry.Yep and if they wanna use him on the outside then let him actually threaten down the field where he can use his strength and length to win at the point of contact. All these in breaking routes are not helping him at all.
Hes fast but hes not quick. Hes big as shit...no one is gonna be that quick almost. Hes gonna lose every battle to any CB on those routes as they can just beat him to the ball. Hes not given any time to build up speed or momentum.
I wanna say anyone whos past 5th grade science would understand this concept but I guess there is a reason why "Are you Smarter than a 5th grader?" was a popular game show. Its kind of like Derrick Henry.
He's not quick... and if you get him before he's worked up to full speed, you have a chance.
If you dont get a hand on him for the first 5 yards, you're fucked.
It is amazing how terrible some NFL coaches are at maximizing talent.I wanna say anyone whos past 5th grade science would understand this concept but I guess there is a reason why "Are you Smarter than a 5th grader?" was a popular game show.
He was solid again the year NE brought him back from the Dolphins. Wish they had kept him. Think it was a money decision. It is amazing how terrible some NFL coaches are at maximizing talent.
We see it all the time on defense. Think currently with Kyle Van Noy. Wasn't anything special in Detroit... then he was a crucial piece in New England... then back to JAG status with the Dolphins and Chargers... and now back to leading the Ravens in sacks.
Sam Darnold.
Baker Mayfield.
Its just crazy how bad some teams are with this stuff.
He got really beat up in the Denver game, 5 sacks and like 10 hard knockdownsRodgers is too far into his career and ways for them to fuck him i would think, but anything is possible.
Stupid that he needed 20 attempts to really have the recordWe have to officially put GOff in that category of QBs that were written off as Garbage that are revitalized with another team.
He's been a stud on the Lions

He got locked up. I keep telling yall he left when Chiefsacholic got put in prison.Where is BigChief anyway?
I noticed there isn't really teenage girl screeching in this thread without him
That would be the funniest thing everHe got locked up. I keep telling yall he left when Chiefsacholic got put in prison.
KC and Buffalo have to be on the phone, right?
I play old man softball. After the handshakes I always tell the umpire thanks. Even the shitty ones. It's not unheard of for decent people to tell someone thank you when they are doing a thankless job.
Especially when they save your bacon 4 weeks in a row!I play old man softball. After the handshakes I always tell the umpire thanks. Even the shitty ones. It's not unheard of for decent people to tell someone thank you when they are doing a thankless job.
I would take a 70 year old tackle on the Pats, if he can pass block at all. Still would be better than what they have.

You know times are tough when you sign a 70 year old tackle.
