Saw this story on Facebook and was sure it had to be satire...

lol is Lamar Jackson retarded?
Why would he not oppose a trademark of his number?

Why would some hick car driver get a monopoly of the number 8? Lamar's team also opposed Aikman trying to trademark the number. Its the right business move.

He doesn’t have a monopoly of the number 8, he has trademarks applicable to two stylized versions, and Jackson is only challenging one of them.

The premise of the challenge is rooted in Lamar’s delusion that specific stylization of the number will create a false association between the two and cause confusions for consumers. He’s arguing the 8 on the current JR Motorsports car looks like the one on his uniform, which is fucking hilarious. Earnhardt Jr’s version is slanted to avoid shit like this.

”Ah shit, look at that model car. Is that number 8 supposed to represent Dale Jr. or Kobe Bryant? I CANT FUCKING TELL!” Lol.

The overlap and consumer uncertainty Lamar is asserting, never fucking happens.

It’s common in NASCAR because stylized numbers are the brand identity. No one can stylize the number 3 like Dale Sr. without permission, because that image generates millions.

Cam Newton thinks the Carolina Panthers 2015 team “absolutely” should be celebrated 10 years later, despite failing to win Super Bowl 50.

Newton said he is most proud of the “authentic nuance” that the team brought to fans with the celebrations and excitement in Charlotte.

Via 4th and 1 with Cam Newton.
Yeah, i love the authentic nuance where he was afraid to dive on a loose ball in the Superbowl.

Uhhhh...

Riley Moss?
Jason Sehorn?
Ya
Riley Moss played in '23
and played better early in '24 than Cooper then got injured

Cooper played quite well but he is a zone guy, Moss played really well in Man coverage which is the ultimate skill for a CB.
Cooper had the SB pick and some good moments but he was indeed the second white DB to break the streak of NFL starters, oddly both from Iowa.

Sehorn shall not be forgotten
