The University of Texas at Austin conducted a very thorough investigation of the bottle-throwing incident that got the pass interference call reversed at the Texas-Georgia game. Tragically, despite herculean efforts, the investigators were unable to identify one single fan who threw a bottle. Therefore, the University will not be banning any fans from games as the SEC demanded.

He owns it. It's like he's proud of it. You'll never be the heel. You guys are just hated. It's pretty comical how quickly they showed the SEC exactly who they are.
I saw it coming a mile away, but you were warning us even before that. As a pure-blood capitalist it hurts to say this, but money and runaway egos have sucked the fun out of one of my most beloved things.

From a conference perspective, the SEC signed 56 top-100 prospects, followed by the Big Ten (26), ACC (eight) and Big 12 (two). Notre Dame signed three.

The real surprise this cycle: Georgia Tech, not Florida State or Clemson, has the No. 2 class in the league. Brent Key signed 23 players, including a pair of top-100 prospects in cornerback Tae Harris and offensive tackle Josh Petty.

Georgia Tech, currently ranked No. 18, hasn’t signed a top-20 class since 2007 after it played for the ACC title under Chan Gailey.

Clemson, meanwhile, is ranked 26th. The Tigers have lost commitments from four top-100 prospects and two other blue-chippers since Aug. 25.

Let’s roll. I don’t think the Horns are great, but I don’t think UGA is either. With the Dawgs struggles on offense this year, gimme Texas today.

Dear Lord this is all getting out of hand.
There is big money in college football.
They will need to put a cap on this spending - whether it be an individual max or a team cap like the NFL.

They also should have seen this coming. Fairly predictable.

My parlay for the day...

Betting with my brain and not my heart.
I'd actually like to see UGA win - well, more like Texas lose. And I'd like to see SMU mudstomp Clemson.

Which conference champ games are win and you are in and lose and you're out?

Those seem like a good watch. I barely follow CFB nowadays so out of the loop.

The thing that people don't realize though is there's big money but there's very little profit overall for the school. Now that's a very deep hole to dive into but it's been the case for years and years. Schools that are doing extremely well in the NIL era have some big money people driving the ship.

Loving that this ASU Freshman Quarterback left Michigan State after the new coach brought in "his guy" from Oregon State.

Spoiler alert...... He stunk..... while the ASU QB had a great year.

Must drive NDA ballistic, lol
