They should try for this weekend coming up. Aren't the NFC and AFC championship games both played on a Sunday? Perfect opportunity to play the Saturday night before. Especially if they're going to play until late January.
It's amazing all these changes supposedly get made for $ reasons but they do their best to not make as much $ as possible.

The CFP just keeps fucking this up. Having the championship game so late this season took some luster or care off for fans. Now they want to move the game to Jan 25th in 2027.

They have to move the calendar and end this no later than Jan 8th or 9th.

I was thinking maybe they were targetting the weekend before the Super Bowl so they had a stand-alone weekend. But that didn't make sense because it's still on a Monday which is lame. Also - the 2027 Super Bowl is on 2/14 in Calofornia.

Why push it back so far?
Unless they are already planning on expanding it?

Fuck doing these huge games on a Monday. I assume it's to keep fans in the city for an extra night?

That wr coach they have is about to get plucked for an OC job.

Hartline?
Hartline is awesome.
Hopefully they don't lose him. Players say nothing but good things about him.

He played for the Bucks. Scrappy. He played in the league for 7 seasons.

I'm kinda surprised that Michigan is expected to lead all schools with 4. I thought they blew their load in last year's draft
This year featured top end talent, and not much else unfortunately.

Last year's National Championship Team had the depth, and they simply just wore teams down over 60 minutes. Believe they had 13 drafted in 2024.

Looks like Jim Knowles is leaving OSU for PSU. How good of a coach is he? He usually has the best talent.
If he was thinking of leaving in the near future to work closer to home (he's from Philly), I guess after a Natty and losing all but 3 starters is as good a time as any.

He's 60 years old so that might have had something to do with it too.

You make a good point though - it's easy to coach when you have studs at every position. Not that he won't have that at Penn State.

He's probably the best DC in college. There was a bidding war for him and Penn st. is going to pay 3mil a year for him. He had one of the best defenses in the country at oklahoma st. just a few years ago and he had no studs.

A lot of people are trying to emulate his cover 0 scheme in college and the nfl.
