Notre Dames defense is good but our offense looked worse than when Jimbo was running it. Now that said I believe Conners injury from last year has him shell shocked. He either couldn’t pull the trigger or he was trigger happy. Not the kid I expected to see.

What an atmosphere though. Dame fans were all cool as shit. A few set up shop throwing down on the grill. Learn from them Barry! :p

The Notre Dame fans were amazed by the courtly manners of the ladies and gentlemen of the Texas Aggie fandom. In the end, the Aggies scored a great moral victory. The Aggies would have had an arithmetical victory too but they just ran out of time.

I didn't think so. As an objective 3rd party watching, they were far more disciplined and there were multiple opportunities. I just don't think the skill players on offense are good as they need to be. I think you're on the right track but really just a couple of skill players away from being very good. It really sucks right now with the loss, but I think a@m is in position to be really good over the next couple of years. I could still see you winning 9 games this year of your QB can improve as the season moves forward.

Well that’s good to hear I suppose. I need to go back and watch the game. It’s difficult to be completely objective live but Conner definitely wasn’t himself. There’s rumors he was sick. No clue if that’s true or not. And I’m not down on them the rest of the season. There were opportunities in this game and they/he just didn’t capitalize on them.

It’s definitely a favorable schedule this year. No reason they can’t make the playoffs unless they get riddled with injuries and or start playing dumb.
That RB is nice. Good size and shifty. He takes advantage of opportunities and makes opportunities. Really impressed and the Irish secondary is nails as well. I think that’s why our skill players looked average at best.

I don’t know if we win that game if A&M had a better QB. We had like 12 penalties. Which we talked about would be an issue because the oline is so young.

I know the oline will have full confidence the rest of the reason though.
