Out-schemed, sure, but they were also out skilled all over the field.
TTUN will be a better team later in the season than they are now. They lost a ton of experience.
I’m not saying that game was ALL on the D. My initial post was just pointing out what I saw as a stark contrast from last year on what is supposed to be their strength. Doesn’t Michigan have multiple projected first round picks on that side of the ball? Not a lack of talent there.
Wink got worked badly and I think he’s going to be a liability, but time will tell.
Entire offensive line from last year is in the NFL.
Actually the only returning starter on offence is Loveland I believe.

Texas lost a lot of guys too, 11 in the draft, including two absolute monsters on their interior D-line.
2 I believe (Graham/Johnson) though doesn't really mean all that much when there's 12 on the field.
