Forgive me, it was 4 years ago, and I obviously didn't remember clearly. However, this doesn't strike me as very far off from my synopsis.
We'll talk about it later when we're not shitting up this thread. I was trying to give you a factual response to your specific question why there's anger and where it's coming from.
I don't solely hold obama accountable there and over time I believe that most of this is best explained by Yang. There is an ongoing paradox that exist right now and I still don't know the solution in which you can expand a GDP faster if you solidify profits to the top. You then need a mechanism to bring the left behind alone.
Just like I've raised my concerns about TPP doing the same thing, I still remain with those concerns. I don't think we have a solution although Yang seemed to offer one that I'm still debating in my own head. On the other hand TPP was likely a better chess move against a China then the current tariffs. Without a deeper understanding of the modern automation and natural service changes occurring in the economy I was against TPP. Over time I still don't love it but I'm not sure that some of the things I observed and still criticize represent a problem with TPP but rather inherent to modern economies and automation. Likewise I remain with total understanding of how that economy chewing up and spitting out the lower educated and at the same time our moral failure to solve our immigration system combines in an incredible amount of anger. Hell it makes me angry sometimes still talking about it. But that is not a synopsis of my opinion of Obama.
