At 'Pho Mamas' with my wife after a pregnancy appointment. I got Thai chicken curry soup.

She got salad rolls, calamari, fried won tons and pork ball and strip Vietnamese soup.

That soup in front of me was the small size (it's 10 bucks I think), there is a bigger one (at least half the bowl again) for 3 bucks more.

I like this place a lot, its fast (all that food was in front of us 5 minutes after ordering) if you both just get soup it's under 20 bucks and you usually have left overs. It's also open till 4 am every day and from what I understand packs full after the bars close every night.

I was at an outside restaurant and a dog shit on the sidewalk and the owner didn't clean it up. There was a street fair going on, so the crowd was pretty thick. The rest of my meal I got to watch people's reactions to the shit, and those who were preoccupied not noticing and stepping right in it. By the end of my meal the lump of shit was reduced to smeared shit and shit footprints.

I would find that so fun to watch.
