^^^ If you add @ before anyone's user name here, it will tag them and send an alert to their "alert box" (top right hand corner of any screen), notifying them that someone has mentioned them. And as you type @ and the first three letters of someone's user name, their username will automatically pop up as you're typing, and you can just click it to finish the process. Example
