I like some fish, sometimes, but I don't love fish. Like everything else they absorb what their near and most fisheries have some levels of pollution (usually some kind of heavy metals). I remember warnings on the radio as a little kid that children shouldn't eat any fish out of the Sacramento river, even 1 fish was potentially dangerous if you were under a certain age. And this is when people still smoked in restaurants and doctors offices.

I like haddock, tilapia and salmon, I fine with the rest.

As far as pan to plate goes, salmon seared in cast iron or trout I caught 20 minutes ago will always be favorites.
Haddock or cod if I'm going to bread & fry for fish tacos. Tilapia is like eating air, or crab legs, you never really get full your hands just get tired.
